Outreach team

Our heart services outreach team supports you and your family when your child has been diagnosed with congenital heart disease.

Counsellors

Evelina London provides a confidential counselling service for any parent of a child being cared for within our children's services.

Take a Breath group therapy programme

To register your interest in the programme you can email PaedCardioPsychProject@gstt.nhs.uk or complete our online form.

This programme is for parents or carers of a child that has been diagnosed with a heart condition in the last 18 months.

It conists of 6 online sessions with other parents and carers, led by our children's cardiology psychology team.

The sessions include practical skills and strategies to help you navigate the challenges of your child's heart condition.

You'll also have the opportunity to share you experiences and learn skills to support yourself and your family.

ECHO (Evelina Children's Heart Organisation)

ECHO supports children and young people with heart conditions and their families, who have been treated by Evelina London, Royal Brompton and Harefield and their networks of local community hospitals. Families are supported at every stage of their heart child’s journey through childhood, teenage years and during the transition to adult services.
