Biography

Dr Connell is currently away from the genetics department and is expected to return in spring 2016.

Dr Fiona Connell studied at the University of Birmingham Medical School. Her postgraduate medical training was in child health (paediatrics) and she became a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in 2003.

She was awarded an MD(Res) for her work on the genetics of primary lymphoedema before becoming a consultant at Evelina London.

She previously worked at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and St George's Hospital.
