Area of expertise: anaesthesia for spinal surgery
Biography
Dr David Daniels became an anaesthetic consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and Evelina London in January 2003. His main specialty is anaesthesia for spinal surgery, including children's spinal problems.
David has an interest in difficult airways and fibre-optic intubation.
When David was an anaesthetic trainee he was awarded a certificate in teaching by the London Postgraduate Deanery for Medical Education.
His main additional role in the department is as chair of the perioperative clinical governance steering group.
