If your child has been invited for a face-to-face appointment or procedure, it’s important you still come unless you hear otherwise.
To help keep everyone safe, only one parent or carer can attend. No other family or friends can visit.

Epilepsy referrals

Who can refer

We accept referrals from:

  • the secondary care epilepsy service at Evelina London Children’s Hospital (run by Dr John Jackman)
  • regional clinics in the south east of England.

We do not accept direct referrals from GPs. GPs with concerns about the onset of new epilepsy should contact a secondary care epilepsy service for an assessment.

How to refer

Please address referrals to the department and send by email or post using the contacts details in the box on this page.

For urgent referrals, please mark referral as urgent.

In an emergency, please contact the on-call children’s neurology consultant, via the main hospital switchboard on 020 7188 7188.
