Sign in to MyChart with your NHS login Last updated: Tuesday, 16 June 2026 From Tuesday 16 June 2026, you can sign in to MyChart using the same log in details you use for the NHS App. This means you do not need to remember another username and password, and getting started with MyChart is quicker. What this means for you If you already use the NHS App, you can now use those details to access MyChart. Look for the option to log in using NHS details on the MyChart sign-in page You will not need to create a separate account You can access your health information as usual If you're new to MyChart, you can create an account more quickly using your NHS login, without filling in extra forms. Your information stays safe Using your NHS App login does not change how your information is protected. MyChart continues to meet the same safety and privacy standards. If you do not use the NHS App Other ways to log in are still available. If you prefer not to use the NHS App, you can still sign in or create a MyChart account in the usual ways, including following the steps from the log in screen or asking at your appointment. Parents, carers and under 16s Parent and carers of under 18s, and patients under 16, will continue to use the existing MyChart sign-up and log in process.
