This course aims to prepare candidates for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health membership (MRCPCH) clinical examination. It includes clinical short cases and practice in communication skills, ethics and history taking and management planning. The course concludes with a mock exam and individual feedback on performance.
The course is run over a week, three times a year with priority bookings are given to doctors working for Evelina London and Guy's and St Thomas'.
A unique aspect of this course is the opportunity for junior doctors to examine children while supervised by a senior paediatrician.
Each session is designed to help junior doctors diagnose and manage a range of conditions in children using real-life scenarios
