Biography

Thomas Day qualified from The University of Manchester in 2008. He trained in paediatrics in London, then undertook higher specialist training in paediatric and fetal cardiology in London, Oxford, and Melbourne. He received a PhD in biomedical engineering from King’s College London in 2024, supported by an NIHR Doctoral Fellowship.

His research interests are focused on the use of artificial intelligence to improve ultrasound screening for fetal congenital heart disease. He was recently awarded a Clinical Research Excellence Fellowship by King’s Health Partners Centre for Translational Medicine.
