Biography
Arash Taghizadeh has been a consultant paediatric urologist at the Evelina since 2008.
His practice includes general paediatric urology.
He is the paediatric urologist for the children’s kidney stone service at the Evelina London Children's Hospital.
He jointly runs the Young Onset Urology (YOU) clinic for adults who have had childhood urology problems.
He jointly runs the children's urinary retention clinic for children.
He is interested in urodynamics. He performs video cystometry and ambulatory urodynamics. He is the director for the Evelina London urodynamics course.
He has set up the paediatric bladder sacral neuromodulation service at Evelina London. This treatment is for children with difficult bladder problems. These include overactive bladder that has not responded to other treatment and bladder emptying difficulty requiring bladder emptying by catheterisation.
