A number of transport strikes are due to take place in November and December. If you or your child has an appointment at one of our hospitals or community centres, please plan ahead and do all you can to attend. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact your clinical team.

Nurses' strike action is likely to take place on 15 and 20 December. Our emergency and time critical services will be open. We'll let you know if your appointment is affected.

Ongoing IT issues

""

Our community services have been affected by national IT problems involving the system used to manage appointments and patient care.

We are sorry for any delays or disruption this causes to your or your child's care.

If you or your child have an appointment to visit one of our hospitals or community health centres, please continue to attend unless you hear from us. You should bring any letters or paperwork we have sent to you for your appointment. This helps us reduce delays.

If you think that a planned visit by one of our community teams may not have happened, or you have any urgent questions about the health of your child, please contact the clinical team as soon as possible.

During appointments, we might ask you for information about your or your child's health that you already provided us with in the past. This helps us give the best possible care.

Getting help or support

Please contact your clinical team if you need more information about your care.

If you are unable to get in touch with the service and need help, please contact PALS.

If you have questions about your medicines after you leave hospital, you can contact our medicines helpline.

If you have an appointment, please continue to attend unless you hear from us. You should bring any letters or paperwork we have sent to you for your appointment. This helps us reduce the risk of delays.
