Strike action by junior doctors will take place at our hospital and community sites from 7am on Tuesday 11 April to 7am on Saturday 15 April. We'll contact you if you or your child’s appointment is affected. We apologise for any inconvenience.

A number of transport strikes are due to take place this March. If you or your child has an appointment at one of our hospitals or community centres, please plan ahead and do all you can to attend. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact your clinical team.

Making your comments count

We value your comments and feedback.

We listen to your comments, and try to make changes to improve things wherever we can. Here are some examples of how we've acted on your feedback.

More about how we've acted on your feedback

Toy icon

You said... you wanted more toys for children available at the weekend.

We re-opened the playrooms at weekends, and activity packs are now available on all floors for teenagers and young children.

You said... noise on the wards at night was disturbing.

We replaced bins on the wards with quiet closing lids and changed the times of waste collection so this doesn't disturb sleeping patients. We also turned all TVs off at 8pm, and asked anyone watching or listening to things after this time to use headphones.

You said... the parents' rooms were untidy and unwelcoming.

We refurbished our parents' rooms and have brought new amenities for them.

You said... you would like more activities for teenagers.

We introduced a monthly club for teenagers, run by our play specialists. It includes a film club.
