Strike action is taking place in June. We'll contact you directly if you or your child's appointment is affected.

There are rail strikes planned for May and June, which may affect your journey to our hospital and community centres. If you or your child has an appointment booked, please do all you can to attend. Plan your journey ahead and allow extra time.

Your child's appointment with the special needs dietitians in Lambeth and Southwark

How do I get an appointment?

We accept referrals from any healthcare professionals, including GPs, health visitors, school nurses, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and paediatricians.

Cancelling or changing your appointment

Please call us on the numbers in our contacts box on this page.

Before your appointment

If your child is less than 5 years old, please bring their red book (personal child health record).

We will let you know if there is anything else to bring to the appointment.

What to expect at your appointment

You or your child will see our dietitian. Appointment times vary, but first appointments generally last 45-60 minutes.

As we are a teaching hospital, students and visitors may be observing the appointment. We will always ask your permission for them to observe your appointment.

After your appointment

The dietitian will discuss when you will be contacted about your child's follow up appointment with you.
