Sickle cell and thalassaemia team

  • Dr Baba Inusa – lead consultant in children's haemoglobinopathies
  • Dr Maria Pelidis – consultant in children's haemoglobinopathies and haematologist


  • Luhanga Musumadi – advanced nurse practitioner (haemoglobinopathies) and lead nurse for adolescent transition
  • Natalee Murray – clinical nurse specialist (haemoglobinopathies)
  • Sharon Ndoro – senior research nurse
  • Olukemi Ajamufua – community specialist nurse (haemoglobinopathies)

Other staff

  • Hatel Bhatt – child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS) practitioner
  • Mary Adeyoluwa – team secretary.
