If your child has been invited for a face-to-face appointment or procedure, it’s important you still come unless you hear otherwise.
To help keep everyone safe, only one parent or carer can attend. No other family or friends can visit.

New birth visit information

Useful information for parents about new birth visits

The New Birth Visit forms part of the UK’s national Healthy Child Programme (HCP). This programme offers every family a programme of screening tests, immunisations, developmental reviews, and information and guidance to support parenting and healthy choices. These are services that children and families need to receive if they are to achieve their optimum health and wellbeing.
