Complex feeding clinic

We support children and young people with severe restricted eating patterns which affect their nutrition and daily life, not related to difficulty with swallowing.

Our clinics are run by a range of different professionals working together. You may see one or more of the following specialists:

  • speech and language therapists
  • dietitians
  • neurodisability specialists
  • occupational therapists
  • psychologists

If needed, we'll speak to other services involved in your child's care and their school or nursery.

We're a regional service and work closely with professionals in the community to assess and offer advice on managing complex feeding difficulties.

We do not provide ongoing treatment as feeding difficulties are best managed in your child's everyday environment.
