We offer appointments in our general clinic and specialist services.
General clinic appointments
Our face-to-face clinics are held from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on Mondays and Thursdays, on the ground floor of Evelina London in the Ocean outpatients department.
We also run video and telephone appointments during the week.
How do I get an appointment?
Your GP, consultant or other health professional can make a referral for you.
Cancelling or changing your appointment
If you need to change or cancel your appointment with the general clinic, please:
Before your appointment
It is helpful to bring:
- a 3-day food diary (if appropriate)
- your child's red book (personal child health record), if you have this
During your appointment
You and your child will see a dietitian registered with the health and care professions council.
Your first appointment will last 30 minutes, and follow-up appointments will last 15 minutes.
All children are weighed and measured before seeing the dietitian.
As we're a teaching hospital, students and visitors may be observing the team. We'll always ask your permission for them to observe your appointment.
After your appointment
At the end of the appointment, we may ask to see you again for a follow-up appointment.
If you have any questions about the follow-up appointment, please phone 020 7188 2010, option 3.
If you want clinical advice, please email gstt.paediatricdietitians@nhs.net.
