If your child has been invited for a face-to-face appointment or procedure, it’s important you still come (even during the national lockdown – medical appointments are still allowed).
To help keep everyone safe, only one parent or carer can attend. No other family or friends can visit.

Radiology referrals

Who can refer

We accept referrals from GPs, and from consultants at Evelina London and other hospitals for all tests and scans.

How to refer

We accept written referrals addressed to the imaging reception and sent by email or post using the details in the box on this page.

To avoid unnecessary delays, please make sure that the patient’s name, address, contact number and date of birth are written clearly on the referral letter.

It is also important to write or type the clinical details and type of test legibly as this information is scanned by computer.

Walk-in x-ray service

We accept GP referrals to our walk-in x-ray service, available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

All other tests are by appointment only.

Urgent referrals

Please mark urgent referral as urgent and include all the relevant clinical information.

All requests will be screened by a consultant radiologist.

Emergency referrals may be made following assessment by the accident and emergency team
