Galaxy outpatients

Galaxy outpatients is a department for children with outpatient heart appointments. It will open from mid-May. Children currently have their outpatient heart appointments in Walrus zone.

Directions from the main entrance of St Thomas' Hospital

Walk in the direction of Evelina London Children's Hospital. Follow the signage for Galaxy. Galaxy is within the Children's Day Treatment Centre.

Directions from outside Evelina London Children's Hospital

If you are exiting the Evelina London Children's Hospital via the main entrance, cross the road in front of you into the South Wing of St Thomas' Hospital. Follow the signage for Galaxy. Galaxy is within Children's Day Treatment Centre. 

Heart clinics

All our face-to-face appointments are held in Galaxy Outpatients and take place Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

  • paediatric cardiology new patient telephone clinic
  • PIMS-TS clinics
  • physiology led clinics 
  • rapid access service
  • cardiac pre-admission 

Outpatient clinics 

All outpatient appointments are located in Galaxy Outpatients, Children’s Day Treatment Centre.   

Network clinics 

We run clinics at other hospitals in the region to help children get specialist care closer to home.
