Community specialist feeding service

The specialist community feeding clinic supports children and young people who experience challenges with eating and drinking, including those who avoid or significantly restrict their eating.

We aim to help families understand and manage the challenges that come with:

  • selective eating
  • food refusal
  • anxiety around mealtimes
  • difficulties with the texture, smell, and appearance of food

Our clinics are run by a range of different professionals working together to support each child and their family, including:

  • community paediatricians
  • dietitians
  • occupational therapists
  • clinical psychologists
  • speech and language therapists

We're a specialist service and focus on children who have already received support from other services and are likely to benefit specifically from more specialist multi-disciplinary assessment, advice or intervention.
