- Day and time: Thursday and Friday, 9am-1pm
- Location: Children's Neurosciences Centre (Newcomen Centre), St Thomas' Hospital
This clinic is is run by a team which may include a speech and language therapist, a psychologist, an occupational therapist, a dietitian, a nurse and a consultant doctor, depending on the needs of the patients.
Initial appointments last around 90 minutes. Follow up appointments last approximately 45 minutes.
At the appointment, the team will ask questions about your child’s past and current feeding. They will watch your child eat and drink. This will help to build up a picture of your child’s skills and difficulties. You will have a chance to discuss any concerns. Toys will be available for your child to play with during the appointment.
As we are a teaching hospital, students and visitors may be observing the team. We will always ask your permission for them to observe your appointment.
