Who can refer
We accept referrals from paediatricians, speech and language therapists and dietitians.
We support a child's local team with decision making and provide specialist opinion, we do not take over their intervention.
This is a specialist tertiary service so there must be evidence of local input before referral and while under our service. Referrals without evidence of this are likely to be rejected.
We cannot accept urgent referrals. Any feeding concerns arising while waiting for an appointment need to be directed to local services.
How to refer
To make a referral, please complete the medical feeding clinic referral form (Word 147KB) and email it to gstt.elchpaedneuroreferrals@nhs.net along with the relevant reports listed on the form.
We do not accept referrals by post.
