Our annual review

Our annual review provides:

  • an overview of activity including how we’ve worked with staff, patients and supporters
  • details of how we’ve made improvements to the quality, safety and effectiveness of our services
  • our priorities for the next year.

Annual Review 2016/2017

In 2016-17 we completed a number of expansion projects and continued work to explore new models of care to meet a growing demand for services. Evelina London became a Strategic Business Unit within Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. We remain an integral part of the Trust but operate as an ‘organisation within an organisation’, allowing us to make the best decisions for children and young people.

Annual Review 2015/2016

In 2015-16 we celebrated it being 10 years since we opened the doors of our children’s hospital on the site at St Thomas’ and were inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who rated our children's hospital as 'outstanding' and our community services as 'good'.

Annual Review 2014/2015

In 2014-15 our children‘s hospital united with children’s community services for Lambeth and Southwark, to become Evelina London Children‘s Healthcare.
