If your child has been invited for a face-to-face appointment or procedure, it’s important you still come unless you hear otherwise.
To help keep everyone safe, only one parent or carer can attend. No other family or friends can visit.

During your appointment

When you arrive, you'll be greeted by your counsellor and invited into the counselling room, where you'll be listened to in confidence.

You will also be provided with written information about the counselling process and confidentiality.

Counselling sessions usually last 50 minutes for one-to-one sessions and an hour for a couple.

You'll be asked if you would like to make another appointment, which is usually booked during the session.

After your appointment

We usually book follow-up appointments with you during your counselling session – a regular date and time will be agreed if appropriate.

If you experience any problems with your appointments, please contact your counsellor by telephone or email.
