Transoesophageal 2D and 3D Echocardiography in Congenital Heart Disease
A three day course running Sunday 4 September to Tuesday 6 September 2016.
CPD approved by the Federation of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 18 category one (external) CPD points.
Course overview
Day one: Introduction to transoesophageal echocardiography in congenital heart disease with hands-on Heartworks simulator training.
Location: Evelina London Children's Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London.
Days two and three: 2D TOE (lectures, simulator demonstration) and 3D TOE (Qlab 3D post processing) for major CHD lesions:
- atrial septal defects
- ventricular septal defects
- mitral valve
- tricuspid valve
- AVSD
- Aortic Valve
- LV outflow tract
