    Description
    The children's outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy service (p-OPAT) helps to send children home from hospital early when the only barrier to their discharge is the need for intravenous (IV) antibiotics.

    Our children's Emergency service (A&E) cares for children aged 16 and under who have suffered a recent injury or accident.
  • Acute pain service

    Description
    The acute pain service cares for children staying in our hospital who are experiencing pain.

    Our children's allergy service is the largest of its kind in Europe, providing families with expert advice and practical help.
  • Anaesthetics

    Description
    Our anaesthetics service looks after children of all age, needing anaesthesia for operations or investigations.

    Our audiology services care for children and teenagers with hearing conditions.

  • Infectious diseases and immunology service
    Description
    The Evelina London infectious diseases and immunology service sees children with severe and/or frequent infections.
  • Inherited metabolic diseases
    Description
    Inherited metabolic disease (IMD) is a genetic, inherited disorder of the metabolism. We are the regional IMD service for London and the south east.
  • Intensive care unit (PICU)
    Description
    Our intensive care unit, known as PICU, cares for critically ill children. It includes the South Thames Retrieval Service, a transport service for children who need intensive care.
