We support children and young people with a wide range of nutritional needs. We work closely with families to provide tailored advice and treatment plans that make a real difference to health and wellbeing.
What we do
We care for children with conditions where nutrition plays a vital role in treatment and recovery. This includes:
- weight faltering (when a child's weight gain is slower than expected) and growth concerns
- underweight (excluding known eating disorders)
- selective eating difficulties, including those linked to autism spectrum disorders (we manage severe conditions in the specialist feeding clinic)
- food allergy and intolerance, including complex or multiple allergies (managed in our specialist allergy service)
- vitamin and mineral deficiencies, such as anaemia
- constipation and other gastrointestinal issues
