'One-stop shop' rheumatology clinic

At this clinic you'll get a chance to see a range of different professionals to avoid the need for multiple clinic appointments.

Adolescent twilight rheumatology clinic

  • Day and time: second and fourth Thursday of every month, 4pm-8pm
  • Location: Level 0 – Ocean, Evelina London

A clinic for young people aged 13-17+ years with rheumatological conditions. Young people are encouraged to start the appointment on their own and ask their own questions. Parents then join them to help fill in the gaps and agree the care plan.

Young adult rheumatology clinic

  • Day and time: first Thursday of every month
  • Location: rheumatology department, 4th floor, Tower Wing, Guy's Hospital

A clinic for young adults aged 17-25 years with rheumatological conditions, including those transitioning from the children's service.

Complex inflammatory conditions clinic

A clinic for young people up to 19 years with complex multisystem inflammatory conditions, including lupus, vasculitis, juvenile dermatomyositis and scleroderma.

During the clinic, we will check your blood pressure and may ask you to provide a urine sample.

Joint rheumatology and renal clinic

  • Day and time: Wednesdays, quarterly, 4pm-8pm
  • Location: Level 0 – Ocean, Evelina London

A collaborative clinic for young people with kidney problems due to lupus, vasculitis and other rheumatological conditions.

 We will check your blood pressure and may ask you to provide a urine sample.

Clinic for children and young people requiring urgent treatment (such as joint injections or change of medication).

Chronic pain clinic

  • Day and time: first and third Thursdays of every month, in the afternoon
  • Location: Penguin outpatient unit, St Thomas' Hospital
A clinic held jointly with the chronic pain service to help young people with chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Fever clinic

  • Day and time: fourth Monday of every month, 11.30am-1.30pm
  • Location: Level 0 – Ocean, Evelina London

This is a collaborative clinic for children up to the age of 19 years who experience recurring fevers and autoinflammatory syndromes.

Non-inflammatory pain/biomechanical clinic

  • Day and time: second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 9am-1pm
  • Location: Penguin outpatient unit, St Thomas' Hospital
A clinic for children with musculoskeletal pain related to altered biomechanics such as chronic sports injuries, symptomatic hypermobility, non-inflammatory musculoskeletal pain and growing pains.
