Forest ward (PICU)

Forest ward (PICU)
Description
Forest ward is on the second floor, and provides intensive care for critically ill children. It's also known as our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Beach ward

Beach ward
Description
Beach ward is on the 3rd floor. It is for children who need short stay surgery, dialysis and kidney and urology care.

Savannah ward

Savannah ward
Description
Savannah ward is on the 4th floor. It cares for children having surgical and orthopaedic procedures. It also cares for children with neurological and metabolic conditions.

Mountain ward

Mountain ward
Description
Mountain ward is on the 5th floor and specialises in general medicine and is home to our High Dependency Unit (HDU).

Neonatal unit (NICU)

Description
The Neonatal Unit is based at St Thomas' Hospital. It provides specialist care for premature and sick babies and includes an intensive care unit (NICU), high dependency unit (HDU) and a special care baby unit (SCBU).

Snow Leopard ward

Description
Snow Leopard ward is home to the long-term ventilation centre, neurorehabilitation and the children's sleep centre.

Snow Fox ward

Description
Snow Fox ward is located at St Thomas' Hospital. It's a specialist unit where small medical procedures and operations are carried out.

Sky ward

Description
Sky ward is on the 6th floor of Evelina London Children's Hospital.
